I am Cameron Canaday

Who am I...
I was born in Silver Spring, Maryland on February 9th, during the big blizzard of 2010.
I lived in Baltimore until we moved to Virginia in July 2017 to get closer to family. My mom is from Dinwiddie and my Dad is from Williamsburg. We now live here in Chester. I live with my Mom, Dad and my three siblings, Charleigh, Carter and Corrie. We have a pet dog, named Jinx. She is a Belgian Malinois. We also have two Guinea pigs, named Sugar and Brownie.

I am a very creative and compassionate person. Coding and digital design are what I plan to learn and why I chose Matoaca. Having had the pleasure of playing some amazing video games is what inspired me to learn how to code. In school, I am a member of the National Junior Honors Society and participate in my school's Chess Club. Currently, I am looking into playing tennis this spring.

Outside of school, I am also a STEM Ambassador at my father's company, The STEMpreneur, where I work with other students exploring STEM. My favorite hobbies are playing videogames and reading, and my favorite book series is Wings of Fire.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I would choose an undo button, that would allow me to undo real life actions. I could fix any mistake and help people before they make mistakes.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would go to Antarctica, to see how much global warming has affected the continent. There, I would capture video of the damage done and use it to help sway people to donate to studying nuclear fusion for clean energy.

If you could live in any country, where would you live and why?
I would choose Canada. It neighbors the U.S., so I would never be too far from my family. My father also took a trip to Canada, specifically Montreal and brought home some syrup and cookies.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
I would make it so that every country has what it needs for its people to live relatively comfortably. Things like access to food, water, clothing, and a house, to help give people a good starting place.

Special Project: Selling My Home
Recently, my parents decided to move out of the infinite void and into another home, a little closer to family. To help with that, I am doing the marketing for our house.
Our home is two stories, has 3 bathrooms, 4 upstairs bedrooms and 1 downstairs, a large kitchen, a large living room, a screened in porch and deck, an office, and a 2 car garage (for parking your flying machine). Outside, there is a trampoline that comes with the property.
This particular part of the void is perpetually suspended in a state of sunset, with the Sun to the east and the full Moon in the west. This provides a beautiful view, both day and night. You can enjoy absolute peace because there are no neighbors. However, the yard is eroding, so you will have to be careful. You will also need a vehicle capable of flight to travel.
